I’ve come up with 40 random acts of kindness as a guideline. They’re simple and inexpensive but could literally change someone’s day… or life!

- Let someone go ahead of you in the line
- Donate to your local charity shop
- Pay for a strangers coffee
- Smile at everyone you see today
- Leave positive feedback online for a service you received
- Thank someone you may take for granted
- Leave a happy note for someone else to find
- Send a random text to a friend to remind them how much you appreciate them
- Buy some extra food and give it to a food bank
- Leave heads up pennies on the ground
- Visit an elderly neighbour or family member
- Send a thank you note
- Let the kids choose what fun they would like today
- Check up on a friend who is grieving
- Hold the door open for others
