This Indicator Test only scans your blood to assess if you have the specific antibody markers for food intolerance.
It does not tell you which foods you are intolerant to.
A NEGATIVE result will tell you that you do not have food intolerance issues.
A POSITIVE result tells you that you do suffer with food intolerance issues.
If you get a POSITIVE result from the Indicator Test, you have the option to further investigate which foods are causing the problem by upgrading to one of the bigger tests (60, 93, 200 or vegetarian test)
The laboratory can use the same blood sample already submitted to run the additional test, so there is no need to retest (once ordered within six weeks of the blood collection).
You have 3 options with regard to taking the blood sample
- Book a consultation and I will take your blood
- I can send the test kit to you
- Arrange to meet me in SuperValu Clane any Thursday where I am the instore Nutritionist.
You will receive a copy of your laboratory test result within two weeks of sending us your blood sample.
It is our recommendation that you should bring these test results to the attention of your GP for his/her consideration.
